Collection: Healing Pendants

Pendants are the pieces most people reach for first. This collection holds gemstone pendants in a wide range of material, some wire-wrapped around a natural point or a raw fragment, others cut, polished and set. Sizes run from small everyday stones to larger pieces meant to be noticed.

What a pendant offers

A pendant sits high on the body and is easy to reach for, which is part of why it has been the traditional form for a carried stone across many cultures. Many people choose one for a particular season of life, or keep two or three and change them the way you might change a ring. There is no rule here beyond what feels right to wear.

Selection and sourcing

Every stone in this collection was chosen individually. We work directly with miners and long-standing private collectors rather than wholesale catalogs, so material arrives unsorted and we get the first look. Because of that, a great many of these pendants are one-of-a-kind: one point, one slice, one piece of rough with a pattern that will not appear twice.

Choosing yours

Two approaches tend to work. The first is to choose by stone, if you already know the material you want to work with. The second is to scroll without deciding and notice which photograph you keep coming back to. Both are legitimate, and regulars here use both.

  • Check the listed dimensions, since photographs make small stones look larger.
  • Consider chain length, because a heavier pendant hangs differently than a light one.
  • Ask about a stone's hardness if you plan to wear it every day.

Care is simple. Take the pendant off before bathing, sleeping or exercising, keep it away from perfume and lotion, and wipe it with a soft dry cloth. Store it apart from other jewelry so nothing rubs. Expect natural variation in color and inclusions, since these are not manufactured stones. Browse the pendants below and take your time with them.
